In Makati, The Philippines, I attend the International Conference of Impunity and Press Freedom. One of the speaker is Editor of Mindanews. But I found something critical about her speech. She kept using the words “Moro Rebel Groups” instead of using “MILF groups” but in the other hand she using the words “NPA army groups” (an army groups belongs to Communists Party of the Philippines). She was not using communist’s rebel groups.

For me it is important using neutral words, otherwise you would not be safe doing your job. To some people’s MILF is not a rebel but a freedom fighter. I thought she was institutionalized that the MILF are rebels groups.
