Menarik melihat perdebatan di tuiter mengenai salah satu tokoh HAM yang banyak dijadikan panutan oleh kalangan aktivis HAM di Indonesia, Ifdhal Kasim. Selepas dari Komnas HAM, tiba – tiba para aktivis HAM terkejut melihat Ifdhal Kasim jadi salah satu kuasa hukum dari Andi Malarangeng yang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka oleh KPK. Banyak nada kekecewaan di sana, terutama dari kalangan aktivis HAM dan anti korupsi.
Soal definisi blog, saya nggak usah jelaskan ya, cari aja di google, pasti juga banyak. Lagian saya bukan orang yang tepat untuk dapat mendefinisikan apa itu blog. Tapi gini, blog itu terdiri dari beberapa bagian, ada mesinnya, theme, conten, dan lain – lain. Nah semuanya tentu ada hak ciptanya. Namun untuk blogger biasanya sih ya di contennya, tapi mungkin aja sih, blogger itu bikin theme sendiri.
Yesterday, i attended a meeting in YLBHI. YLBHI and others NGO’s fellow discussed on the draft implementing regulation on the Legal Aid Law. One of the discussion is about the conditionalities of a person to be legally received legal aid. According to the draft, a person may claimed that they are poor if they do have a evidence that show that they are poor. Such as Healthcare Insurance for the Poor or other social safety net, including a letter from a head of village that acknowledge that they are poor.
What if the person have no identity, this kind of person may be found in many large cities in Indonesia. According to the draft regulation, the head of village in the crime of scene should give a letter that acknowledge that this person is poor. Just wondering, if in any case there would be a very kind head of village voluntary willing to give such letter.
In that discussion, i propose to filed a petition to the court so the court will declared through its rulling that “you are legally poor”. This kind of mechanism should be fast and only need a one day trial hearing.
Desember ini, seperti desember yang lain, banyak toko – toko yang menjual berbagai perlengkapan natal untuk yang merayakannya. Salah satu perlengkapan yang dijual ya tentunya Pohon Natal dengan semua pernak perniknya.
Saya sih selalu kepengen punya pohon Natal dan menghias pohonnya dengan semua hiasan – hiasan dan lampu – lampu kecil. Entah kenapa dari dulu seneng aja dengan hiasan pohon Natal yang selalu ramai itu.
Kemarin sempat lihat pohon Natal mini, ukurannya 10 cm yang pas untuk ditaruh di meja kerja. Sayang pas ketemu, selalu saja lupa membelinya

Well, if this draft law agreed by both government and parliament then the minister is above the President of Indonesia. Just wondering who is drafting this kind of “powerful” article
Last week, i was invited to attend the 4th Bali Media Forum in 2012. It is a very good discussion especially when I heard other countries experience in Press Freedom and their effort to established the independent Press Council in their respective countries. For me, it is a very attractive event since I was for so long not really attached to any media issue in Indonesia.

Salah satu fungsi surat dakwaan adalah sebagai landasan pemeriksaan di Pengadilan, oleh karena itu surat dakwaan harus terpenuhi syarat – syarat formal dan materil sebagaimana diuraikan dalam KUHAP. Namun, dalam perkara narkotika terkadang perbuatan yang sebenarnya dilakukan berbeda dengan perbuatan yang didakwakan. Misalnya pada dasarnya terdakwa adalah pengguna narkotika yang bisa pada saat ini bisa dihukum berdasarkan ketentuan Pasal 127 UU No 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika. Namun dalam prakteknya pengguna ini didakwakan dengan ketentuan Pasal 112 UU No 35 Tahun 2009 tentang narkotika atau Pasal 114 UU No 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika.
Perkara ini menarik karena terdakwa didakwa telah melanggar Pasal 114 ayat (1) UU No 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika atau melanggar Pasal 112 ayat (1) UU No 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika atau melanggar Pasal 132 ayat (1) jo Pasal 114 ayat (1) UU No 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika. Terdakwa yang saat itu sedang bersama temannya yang menjadi saksi (yang juga jadi terdakwa dalam perkara yang terpisah) menerima permintaan dari seseorang untuk mencari shabu – shabu. Lalu Terdakwa menanyakan apakah ada shabu kepada temannya tersebut, dan lalu temannya tersebut mencarikan dan mendapatkan penjual shabu.
